IPU distance education admission 2025: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, formerly known as Indraprastha University, located at Dwarka, Delhi, was established on 28th March 1998. It is the first university to be established by the Government of the NCT of Delhi. The university has been accredited by NAAC A++. IPU Eligibility Criteria 2025:
Eligibility criteria for admission to IPU depend on the course. For undergraduate courses, students should have completed 10+2 with at least 50% marks. For postgraduate courses, students should have completed their bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. In addition, students have to qualify for the entrance examination. IPU Distance Education Admission Process 2025 :
IPU admissions are based on entrance tests such as JEE Main for B.Tech, GATE for M.Tech and IPU CET for other undergraduate programs. CET PG for other postgraduate programmes.
IPU Distance Education Admission process includes:
- Go to ipu.ac.in.
- Register yourself using email id or phone number.
- Fill application details and pay the application fee of INR 1000 to 1500, depending on the course.
- Go for counseling on the counseling date.
- Submit the required documents, a Copy of Application Fee, attested copies of mark sheet and certificates, transfer/migration certification etc.
- Pay the admission fee and reserve your seat.
IPU Distance Education UG Admission 2025:
IPU offers a variety of undergraduate courses in science, technology, medical sciences and education. Some of the popular UG courses are BA, BSc, BTech, BCA, BBA, BDS, MBBS and LLB. Last date for admission in UG courses at IPU is 15th august. To get admission in Undergraduate courses at IPU, students should have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board like CBSE, ICSE and other state boards. Minimum required percentage of marks is 50% but for reserved category students a relaxation of 5% is provided. In addition to it, IPU takes admission on the basis of entrance exams like JEE mains, IPU CET, and NEET. Offline Counselling for admission in UG courses has been started.

IPU Distance Education PG Admission 2025 :
IPU offers a variety of PG courses which include MBA, MSc, MA, PG Diploma, LLM, MTech, MPharma, and others. Offline counselling for admission in PG programs has been started and the last date to take admission is 15th august. To get admission in Postgraduate courses, students should have completed their undergraduate degree in the respective field, from a recognized university. Minimum marks required for admission in postgraduate courses is between 50% to 60%, depending on the course. In addition, students may have to qualify entrance exams like IPU CET, NEET PG, GATE and others.
IPU Distance Education P.hd Admission 2025:
IPU offers PhD in various specializations such as Management, Chemical Technology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, English, Sociology, Law and Legal Studies and many more. Admissions in the PhD program will start from 31st July* . To get admission in a PhD program, students should have a postgraduate degree from a recognized university, with a minimum of 55% marks. For those, who want to take admission in PhD after completion of a BTech or any other 4 year (8 semester) program, should have a minimum of 75% marks. IPU conducts PhD entrance test (PET) for admission in a PhD.
